Kanban is one of the most popular approaches for working in an agile way, however, unlike many other methodologies and frameworks, kanban is more a collection of disciplines, techniques and concepts, which when used together can provide a very efficient and effective way of working.
This course covers the theory, concepts and a little bit of history - it helps to understand where kanban has come from. Much of the day is based around a practical activity based upon the delivery of a digital service. (We also have other activities based on non-digital delivery too if you prefer.) Participants will learn the significance of optimising flow and reducing waste and find out for themselves how to put Kanban into practice.
Participants will learn about the measures that can be used to help understand how a team is performing and how to use the data gathered to focus in on improvements
This course runs for 1 day, usually in Sheffield, London or Newcastle and costs £300+VAT.
